Our Mission

LEAP Care Early Childhood Services Nonprofit is on a mission to revolutionize childcare infrastructures, solving the two primary concerns faced by the industry: typical childcare centers are rarely profitable, and there is a huge lack of early childhood educators as it is a low-paying career choice. We empower culturally and linguistically diverse communities to establish and manage their own thriving childcare centers, fostering economic growth and individual mobility.

Our Story

LEAP Care was born from the vision of Dr. Suz Leora Knott, a dedicated advocate for accessible education and cultural inclusion. With deep roots in community service and expertise in early education, Dr. Knott created LEAP Care to address the challenges faced by childcare providers and educators, particularly in refugee and underserved communities.

The Problem We Address

The childcare industry often struggles with insufficient training, resource constraints, and lack of cultural inclusivity. LEAP Care tackles these issues head-on, creating pathways for aspiring childcare providers to thrive and ensuring families receive the high-quality care they deserve.

Our Impact

Through partnerships, innovative programs, and targeted support, we’ve already helped numerous individuals open childcare centers, transition to professional settings, and obtain CDAs. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future for families and children.
