Childcare & Early Intervention

Hosted at our own LEAP Care Children Center which provide:

  • Inclusive, trauma-informed early learning environments.
  • Developmental screenings and family navigation supports.
  • Kindergarten readiness programs aligned with Utah Early Learning Standards.
  • Observation classrooms where future educators gain hands-on experience.

Teacher Training Lab Schools

High school and college students join the “Earn While You Learn” pathway as:

  •  Assistant Teachers in early childhood classrooms.
  • Mentors and Tutors in community-based programs.
  • Learning Coaches supporting multilingual and newcomer students.

Each practicum includes:

  • Paid placement.
  • Academic credit.
  • Real-time coaching with GoReact-powered assessments.
  • Transferable credentials through Utah’s First Credential Program (H.B. 260).

Hybrid Online + Community Hub Courses

Designed for Utah's families, educators, and future workforce. LEAP transforms libraries, schools, and cultural centers into hybrid learning hubs where:

  • Courses are delivered online with in-person mentoring.
  • Families receive childcare on site.
  • Volunteers, retirees, and professionals share expertise.
  • Students complete service-learning projects that benefit their neighborhoods.

Every program site is a living lab: children receive world-class care, families access wraparound support, and students gain paid experience toward college credit and career credentials.
